What's On

The Adams’ Grammar School Society (AGSS) organises regular social events and makes a significant contribution to the school through its fund-raising activities.

AGSS committee meetings normally take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Next Committee Meetings:

A regular draw, The 100 Club,
produces three cash prizes
monthly ((£100, £70, £50).
Membership is £2 a month.

Mobile Phone Recycling
Fones4Schools

.... So far a collection of 36 phones has raised a total of £90.00.. and AGSS still hope to raise
£300

A reminder to all staff and pupils that the AGSS is continuing to collect old and unwanted mobile phones in order to be recycled and raise funds. The phones can be in any condition, please remove sim cards and adaptors are not required. There are two collection boxes; one in reception and the other in the library.

So far a collection of 36 phones has raised a total of £90.00. These phones were sent to an organisation called Foneclub which runs a mobile phone recycling initiative in order for schools to raise funds through the recycling of all obsolete and broken models.

The Buy and Sell Shop
is run by the AGSS. It sells new
and good-quality second-hand
uniform and equipment.
Open 3.30-4.30pm every Friday.
